82 day’s on.

82 day’s i started something by loading a disc into this, at first it was going to be a way of selling art online by making my own web site (lollypop moor) but as time and art went on idea’s started to enter this sawdust filled head of mine “what if” or maybe “what if” then by chance came the biggest “what if” of all, i was in the van when i saw someone posting flyer’s “BINGO” the penny dropped, “what if” i set up a advertising  company, it all seemed to fit art and design for anything from flyer’s to posters, web design, I've got the contact’s http://www.acornpress.co.uk/ my old boss (the one and only patrick) for the printing, as for the hosting of my site i picked on these, they are very good but i feel I've given them a hard time, i will get the hang of it one day http://www.pixelinternet.co.uk/  so be patient with me, feel I've a long way yet to go but this is the start of a new chapter for Billy

one of those life changing interview's,,,,,,,,,,,,

think I've just had one of those life changing interview's with a Mr Steve booth from trident/next step’s, think he was just used to someone just sitting there and telling him they want to be a web designer and spouting off that they had done a six week course on html, “not for me” i took in the laptop and he loved it!, he went through all the dummy sites then the adobe work and finally even the animation stuff (he loved the floyd one) think it was time well spent doing this all about billy site managed to fit hyper link’s to all the dummy’s, artwork, adobe, and animation’s that I've done (thought it would be the ultimate cv) and it worked, Steve told me to try two things make a dvd with all this stuff on and tout it around all web design company’s, or just set my own company up, in the meantime he said he will try and set up an interview with someone he knows in the trade.

“here we go then” if you ever get board on a Sunday afternoon try this, take 5 tbl spoon’s of sugar, 2 tbl spoon’s of golden syrup, 2 tbl spoon’s of honey mix together in a saucepan bring to the boil till it turn’s a dark brown colour then add a pre mixed 1 tbl spoon of baking soda and 1 tbl of water, and watch it fizz up like f**k and the pour the bubbling mess onto a well greased surface, and “hey presto” you’ve got cruncie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, but i bet all you on and off shore chemists have tried this before, “whoop’s buger!” just remembered rocket we be reading this,,,,,,, (sorry Frankie)

“it’s almost 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon” just turned off the web course stuff, think it’s party time now “so let’s have some music” two singer’s you will either love or hate, but in my book they’re both god’s

a lump in the throat moment.

“they say that Pete Townsend as a boy locked himself in his bedroom until he had learnt to play guitar”, “well” think I've just done a near as dam it week to him but in the comfortably numb, I've spent the week in the van learning this website thingy-me-jig and it did surprise me that it not really as hard as it seems, loaded up the software on Tuesday morning and made a start, found the hardest part was learning to use the new art studio were I'm use to adobe, (maybe i shouldn't have been so tight and got Dreamweaver) all the html,anchor's,page navigation,etc. seemed to just fall into place, did find the e,commerce shop a little tricky  but with a bit more playing around I'll crack it, but it was a lump in the throat moment yesterday afternoon seeing a dummy of a website I've been toying with for the past 4/5 years live online, and clicking through all the pages, link’s, etc. to find them all working fine.

over the past few week’s I've got into this pop art thing, but when you look at it all it just seems to be full of dead boring  old has been icon’s and tins of soup, “so i thought l’de do some new one’s”so here’s two  image’s I've done some of iconit blogger’s in pop art style  the rocket man and sandy, I've been a bit absent on here over the past few week’s the reason is I'm on a bit of a retrain, I'm learning web design and production, i think this is the way forward for me (being a somewhat frustrated wannabe artist) “watch this space for more “lollypop moor”
