“a happy Beltane”

Happy Beltane

“or what we saw of it” think it was to good a day and night spent at overton, to cut to the truth we over slept!!!!! 044so this was all we saw of the may day festivity's042 “everyone making their way to the red lion” but still all in all a cracking time had by all, we got to finally see east Kennet long barrow and east Kennet village it’s self “real chocolate box cover stuff” even the bears there are friendly, 012 overton had a great gathering this weekend children being children, sunshine, music, firework's, even little sky telling us about all the angel’s that live in the sky, and her little brother that needed to have his two penny’s worth about the co co pop’s monkey. 034  so after all that think it’s just time for us two reprobate's to wish you all 032

Billy, As far as I can see from photos on facebook, you're too late for the Maypole in the morning - it was still dark when they were gathering and too early for the gorsedd in the afternoon. I know this as Chuck, the Bard of Avebury and the bloke with the guitar in your first picture, still has his face painted. Pretty sure that's Kes in the purple skirt in that picture too.

think it all started about 4am "ish" i was talking to chuck in the car park he said it all went well, "i blame two reasons for missing it all"

(1)poppy forcing me to drink too much and do all that van hopping/meeting thing.

(2)poppy doing a fantastic impression of a chainsaw at 5am and i didnt have the hart to wake her.
so im never going to spend another night at overton and never drink again,
"well bugger me a pig's just flown past the van window",,, "hic"
