after all the years I've been going to north Tenerife i finally did it i got on the bus and had a day out at teide, was well impressed with the landscape and the thought of what mother nature can do but that was about it, i do think they've pulled about with it abit too much non of the geology looks right as you can see from the first photo, in order to put in the cable car and access road it looks like they cut
through what was an impressive lava flow, then just ground it up and tried to make it look like a flow and to top it the ash and sedimentary rock is dumped just after it,
“see what i mean” all for the sake of a cable car that will cost you 25 euro each (call me tight but there’s more chance of me walking into a real ale pub and asking for a pint of carling) the next time i go there think I'll take a leaf out of the mountain biker boy’s who got off the bus on the east side, it looked a lot more natural and unspoilt did look like one hell of a place for a wild camp
can imaging it now, the comfortably numb parked up the fridge filled with dorada, a good chicken chorizo and tomato stew on the go, and just spending the night looking up at the dark night sky's stargazing,
“ahh bliss”
